ENTRY DEADLINE: Entry forms and images must be submitted
online or postmarked by August 15, 2009.

NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE: September 1, 2009.

MEDIA: Limited to oil on canvas paintings. Paintings should be no smaller than 3 feet by 4 feet.

ELIGIBILITY: All artists with a California mailing address.

ENTRY FEES: None.

AWARDS: All artists selected for the exhibition will receive an $1,000 stipend for their participation. Others selected for award recognition will receive awards of $12,000, $5,000 and $3,000.

DELIVERY DATES FOR RECEIPT OF WORK: Artists are responsible for the delivery of their work. Deliveries will be accepted from 11am to 3pm September 11 and 12 at Art Space 712, 712 Sansome Street, San Francisco, CA 94111.

RETURN/PICKUP OF WORK: Works should be picked up after Friday, October 2.

LIABILITY: Accepted artworks will be insured on-site for the duration of the exhibition. The gallery will not be held liable for loss or damage of any work while in transit or beyond the last day of specified return/pickup.

SELECTED ARTISTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO:
1. Sign a letter of agreement
2. Sign a registration/condition report

AND SUBMIT:
1. Artist Statement (optional)
2. SASE for return of materials

EXHIBITION REQUIREMENTS: No substitutions or changes may be made after receipt of the entry form. No work may be substituted for the work selected for the exhibition. Removal of the work prior to the last day of the exhibition is not permitted. All work must be suitable for exhibition (i.e., installation-ready), in excellent condition, and will be inspected and registered at the time of delivery for compliance. Upon the discretion of the gallery, any works submitted that do not meet the stated criteria for acceptance will not be accepted or exhibited.
